Teaching Assistant Contract

Here at Destination Education we are currently looking for a confident and outgoing individual, with experience working in a PRU unit or with students with SEMH/EBD for a Teaching Assistant role. Alternatively, if you haven’t worked in a school setting before, candidates with any prior experience working in a role supporting/mentoring young adults are sought after.

We are offering the ideal candidate a full-time role at a North London 6th form college, that constantly strives for excellence and believes that every person plays an integral part in their mission.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

* Aiding behaviour management in the classroom
* Positively impact students’ attitudes toward learning
* Be a positive role model

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

* Able to build strong rapport with young adults
* Be flexible, proactive and patient
* Great at communicating effectively
* Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to maximise their full potential
