Job Role – Sous Chef in Hospitality Kitchen
Location – Canary Wharf
Sector: Contract Catering
Salary – £27-29k Monday to Friday + Paid overtime
We are looking for a Sous Chef to work in the Hospitality Kitchen for a top Contract Catering site in Canary Wharf.
This is a Monday to Friday role with core hours being 7.30am to 4pm but a degree of flexibility is required as there will be occasional dinners and evening functions. Any evenings will be paid overtime in addition to normal salary.
Sous Chef Duties will include: Fork Buffets, Canape’s, Sandwiches as well as Fine Dining dinners and more. You may be required to help out in the retail kitchen on occasion as well so you must be happy in all areas of the kitchen
The Sous Chef is involved in writing the menu’s with the Head Chef so a keen interest in the latest trends and dishes will be required. You will have great support from the Head Chef and you will also be required to help junior chefs in the kitchen.
A Contract Catering background would be great however someone with good knowledge and experience gained in high level establishments will be considered. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow and develop with this leading caterer. We will look at Sous Chef’s who want a new challenge or indeed strong Chef De Parties or Senior Chef de Parties wanting to take the next step in their career.
