Senior Technical Services Manager

Role Purpose:

The Senior Technical Services Manager will lead across multiple projects in Reading, Thames Valley and West of London. Our portfolio spans public sector frameworks and large commercial projects.

Key Accountabilities:

* Attend, and chair where appropriate, meetings with the Client, the designers, specialist contractors and other team members.
* Contribute to the regular Project Report and attend Project Meetings.
* Review designers and contractors’ drawings for completeness of information and compliance with contract requirements (specification, ER, etc).
* Check ongoing installation for compliance with contract requirements (specification, drawings etc.)
* Provide expertise in planning and executing the building services commissioning.
* Responsible for the delivery of the building services works or the elements there off on the project, and on those of personnel / engineers under their supervision.
* Produce monthly Services Status Reports on their projects or provide information to support the overall project report.
* Provide input in the production of the project programme

Skills and Experience:

* Good communicator.
* Programme driven, pushing each stage of the building services contract works.
* Prepared to be innovative.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Proven track record working on large (£50m pls) construction projects. Due to the nature of his project a strong mechanical bias would be preferred.

Salary will be from £70,000-£85,000 + car allowance
