Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor required for 9-12 month contract!

I am working with a leading civil engineering contractor to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis for a major project in Somerset. The role will involve reporting to a Commercial Manager and being responsible for subcontractor management and measurement of large scale roadworks under NEC contracts.

To be considered for this position you must have sound experience of working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor on large civil engineering or nuclear projects and have good experience of working under NEC forms of contract. Experience of working on highways projects would be beneficial. You must also be meticulous and methodical in your approach to your work and be able to work and thrive in a very fast paced working environment.

Rates available for this position are in the region of £400 to £450 per day on a Limited Company basis.
