The client is the leading independent property and construction consultancy with expertise across every major sector. They are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to lead on new build developments for a leading hotel brand with projects based in Ireland.
This is role offers hybrid working – 2 days a week from home and 3 in the office or out on site. The projects are based in Dublin and Cork so you would need to live a commutable distance from these cities.
Key Experience and Knowledge
* A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from dealing with strategic issues at conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
* Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques.
* Experience of managing commissions for medium to large sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
* Excellent knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes and value management
* People management experience, particularly in the context of managing a team delivering a project.
* Experience within the hotel sector is a must.
* Experience within the commercial and residential sectors would be an asset
Education and Qualifications
* Ideally a graduate degree in a relevant discipline for construction project management
* Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields i.e. construction, project management, surveying
