Senior Architect

A RIBA Chartered practice based in Cheshire is currently looking to add a Senior Architect to their team specialising in the Hospitality sector as well as working on some Residential projects too.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

– Providing support to less experienced architects and assist interior designers with construction issues.

– Interest in design, ability to produce feasibility studies.

– Comprehensive construction knowledge,

– Preparation of Building regulation applications, working drawings and planning applications.

– Coordination of consultants drawings and information.

Likely projects will include pub feasibilities, values generally £1.5- £2.0m, hotel projects up to £12.0m, some new construction, and work with historic buildings

The role requires attendance on construction sites within a PM role and traveling to undertake feasibilities across the nation.

Experience in the type of projects undertaken at the practice would of course be an advantage but the lack of it does not exclude candidates. Enthusiasm competence and great communication skills will go a long way.

The successful candidate would need to be ARB registered and being a member of the RIBA would be welcomed.
