Secondary SEND Teacher Contract

Do you have a passion for teaching children and young adults with Special Educational Needs?

Destination Education is looking for an outstanding and passionate SEND Teacher for September 2022 to deliver a range of subjects to students with special educational needs. The school is a Specialist Secondary Academy with a post 16 provision located in the London Borough of Barnet who cater for students with a range of learning disabilities and autism. The SEND Teacher will be joining full time on a long term to permanent basis.

They are an accredited National Support School and maintain National Autistic Society Advanced Accreditation. They were rated as an Outstanding Provider in their last Ofsted inspection and offer excellent opportunities for career progression; and are fully committed to professional development.

Ideal SEND Teacher

* Passionate, resourceful, resilient and a committed classroom practitioner with the ability to work as a team
* UK Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalence and experience or qualifications in teaching pupils with special educational needs
* Share the schools vision for creating exceptional special needs provision and ensuring every student attending has access to the best possible education to meet their individual needs

The school will consider an ECT with previous experience supporting students with special educational needs in an education setting.
