Anderselite are on the lookout for a talented Technician / Technologist to join a busy Architectural Studio to take a key role within a mixed use studio. This is a busy and expanding area of the clients business.

They are one of the largest architectural practices in the UK who have designed award winning buildings for a wide variety of clients including offices, residential, hotels, leisure, retail, schools and universities.

They are an award winning multi-disciplinary architectural practice leading the market in its use of BIM technology and processes and are committed, experienced and expert BIM users. Their BIM approach is one of teamwork and cooperation with their design team partners. This philosophy is clear in all that they do.

They are currently looking for someone with at least 4+ years experience and an Architectural Technician / Technologist.

Job Description

* Maintaining detailed knowledge of own project
* Collating and organising technical information
* Investigating technical information and factors that affect developments, including user needs, site and building surveys and regulatory requirements
* Monitoring health and safety in design
* Preparing regulatory applications
* Demonstrate an awareness of own impact on the financial performance of his/her projects

Essential

* Educated to at least HNC / HND level
* An understanding in the Planning process, as well as a good understanding of Building Regulations.
* Sound technological knowledge of building detailing and modern construction materials. The ability to create succinct but considered tender packages
* Ability to lead projects
* Willingness to contribute to the detailed design process
* Ability to co-ordinate detailed design information

Desirable

* Taking a brief and developing initial proposals
* Collating, organising and investigating appropriate information
* Contributing to the detailed design process by spotting and resolving queries ahead of time
* Providing input into specifications with non-standard details (which require research)
* Contributing to meetings or answering queries in respect of own areas of work or advising others in respect of similar work
* Supervision of others in producing work

While Revit is desirable we can provide Revit training to a successful candidate.
