Project Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading regional construction company is seeking to employ a Project Quantity Surveyor to be based from their Leeds office working as part of their Commercial Division.

The role involves supporting the team commercially across a variety of specialist civil engineering and rail related infrastructure schemes ranging in value from £10k to £2m.

You will undertake a variety of duties ranging from :

Formalising the procurement of Sub Contractors
Attend start up meetings
Assess interim applications for payments
Assist in the preparation and valuation of change requests
Evaluate and report commercial performance

Various other duties

Candidates will be degree educated or equivalent and will have strong IT skills. You will have previous experience of working within a similar role ideally for a civil engineering or rail contractor and will be able to work under your own initiative. Experience of using coins would be an advantage but is not essential.
