IT Technician Contract

Destination Education is currently looking for an IT Technician to join an exceptional secondary special needs Academy in Barnet, North London. They are an outstanding specialist academy with a post 16 and post 19 provision and their pupils have a wide range of learning difficulties. The IT Technician will join a school that have been judged ‘outstanding’ in three successive OFSTED inspections both as a maintained school and as an academy.

IT Technician Responsibilities –

* To look after school networks
* Ensuring internet systems are safe
* Install, order and maintain software and hardware
* Provide technical support to teachers and pupils
* Training students and teachers on how to use different systems and software

IT Technician Requirements –

* They will have a good general IT knowledge, the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
* Experience working within the education sector is highly desirable

This is a full time position and usual hours of work will be 08:30-16:30 Monday to Friday.
