Facade Engineer Permanent

We have a phenomenal opportunity for a Façade Engineer to join a team of experts working for an innovative market leader in cladding.

The Facade Engineer will be part of a collaborative design team working on projects from concept to detailed design.

Experience:

Experienced in Thermal Engineering, one-dimensional and two-dimensional steady-state heat loss

Experienced in using software packages such as – Flixo Pro, Trisco or BuildDesk

Practical knowledge of thermal codes and calculation methods.

Sound comprehension of façade materials

Experienced of working with cladding materials

Working knowledge of British Standards.

Qualifications:

Engineering or Architectural degree or equivalent.

Duties:

Report writing and presentations

3D Modelling

Review of sub-contractors Technical Submittals

Ability to communicate façade design with clients’ and supply chain.
