* Instrumentation & Control
* WaSP family of processs optimisation solutions (Tankered Waste Reception, Wastewater Sludge Management & Control, Auto Decanting, Cake Loading, etc)
* iValve (Valve and Actuator solutions / accessories & services)
* Fabrication and additional support works to include minor civils, etc.
There is an immediate requirement for an Electrical and Instrumentation Estimator at their Head Office in reading. The role of the Estimator is to successfully support the Project Managers in fulfilling the company’s commitments in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, striving for customer satisfaction and a safety-first culture. You will need to demonstrate good commercial and Technical aptitude in playing a pivotal role in delivering specialist projects (mainly within the UK Water Industry) with individual values ranging from £5K to £500K and must have a committed and flexible ‘can do’ attitude to undertaking the estimation of a variety of Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (with some minor mechanical / civils) related schemes.
Operating within a small project management team there will be a requirement to travel for site surveys, site visits, meetings, etc. and there may be a need for this role to work from remote site office locations or client offices depending on the scope of the project.
Duties of the role include:
Initial project feasibility, survey and estimation
Preparation of tenders – site surveys and client scoping meetings
Build and maintain good working relationships with clients, client’s professional representatives, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Work to demanding timescales within a successful team
Liaise direct and work with the Project Delivery Team
Ensure the safety of all company employees, it’s clients and the general public
Ensure that all Company Policies & Procedures are adhered to
Uphold the Company’s brand name & reputation and ensure it is not damaged
Follow the procedures as laid out within the Integrated Management Systems of the company
Maintain company confidentiality as required
To be considered a viable applicant for this role you will need the following experience and attributes:
Surveying and quoting/estimating experience
Industrial electrical experience and qualification is essential
Water Industry experience is essential
Mechanical and civil experience is desirable
