Early Years Teaching Assistant Newham

Destination Education is working in partnership with a ‘good’ primary school within Newham who are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to begin on a full time basis from September 2018.

This position requires the candidates to be level 3 qualified in Childcare. The brilliant school are looking for a motivated and dedicated teaching assistant that is passionate about helping and teaching children in the early stages of their education and life.

The school has a fantastic early years team who place a high importance on the inclusion and participation of all pupils and staff. They have a dynamic approach to education, believing that learning should fun and engaging as well as educational.

The team are looking to warmly welcome a new teaching assistant from September 2018. There will be interviews and trial days taking place throughout the summer term.

The ideal candidate will also:

* Have a CACHE Level 2/Level 3 award in Childcare or equivalent
* An up to date DBS.
* Have a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and assessments within the primary phase
* Be well organised with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
* Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and pupils.
