SpareRoom is the UK’s busiest flatshare site. Every three minutes, someone finds a flatmate with them. That’s a lot of people, meaning more choice for you – and more chance of finding flatmates you really click with.

Create an ad and let potential flatmates find you. Tell them that you’ve got a room to fill or you want to find one to live in. Talk about the kind of flatshare you’re looking for. Are you looking to party every night, or just birthdays and Christmas?

They also offer a SpeedFlatmating service to assist you find your new flatmate. It’s not about what you share it’s about who you’re sharing it with, so it makes sense to check out the people first.
